{"id":325,"date":"2004-10-16T23:09:04","date_gmt":"2004-10-16T23:09:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maydanoz.arved.priv.at\/blog\/?p=325"},"modified":"2004-10-16T23:09:04","modified_gmt":"2004-10-16T23:09:04","slug":"committed_to_fr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arved.priv.at\/weblog\/2004\/10\/16\/committed_to_fr\/","title":{"rendered":"Committed to FreeBSD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two years ago I became a FreeBSD committer.<br \/>\nAccording to <a href=\"http:\/\/people.freebsd.org\/~peter\/commits.html\">Peter&#8217;s CVS statistics<\/a> since October 15 2002 I made 1664 commits to the ports repository (Currently rank 18), 29 commits to the doc+www repository, one src and one sys commit.<br \/>\nBecause of the time consuming math courses this year, i failed to keep my rate of 1000 commits\/year, but 663 is still nearly two commits\/day. Additional I mentored two ports committers  during their first steps as FreeBSD committers.<br \/>\nI have to thank Daniel and Jared who donated Hardware to support my work and of course the great FreeBSD community.
