{"id":704,"date":"2017-12-25T22:49:48","date_gmt":"2017-12-25T21:49:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arved.priv.at\/weblog\/?p=704"},"modified":"2017-12-25T22:49:48","modified_gmt":"2017-12-25T21:49:48","slug":"end-of-the-year-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arved.priv.at\/weblog\/2017\/12\/25\/end-of-the-year-update\/","title":{"rendered":"End of the Year update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No November update, since I was busy with moving. <\/p>\n<p>This month still busy with moving aftermath and of course christmas. <\/p>\n<p>So lets see how I did with my <a href=\"https:\/\/arved.priv.at\/weblog\/index.php\/plans-for-2017\/\">Plans for 2017<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continue studying (10+ ECTS) <strong>still doable<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Work: Finish with AWS Competency and release NG firmware version 7.1<strong>done<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>More Sports: Motivate myself to run more than once every other month<strong>fail<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Hardware consolidation: Buy a new Screen.<strong>done<\/strong> Maybe a NAS<strong>not done<\/strong> or a new Desktop and retire direk.arved.priv.at<strong>not done<\/strong> and sauna.arved.priv.at<strong>done<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Continue contributing to FreeBSD <strong>&lt;50 commits, less than the year before<\/strong> and Wikipedia.<strong>143 edits, no new articles<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Attend a conference, e.g. EuroBSDcon<strong>fail<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sumam sumarum mixed results.<\/p>\n<p>So My Plans for 2018:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continue studying (10+ ECTS)<\/li>\n<li>Finish EMV L2 Certification, do a cool, sucessful project<\/li>\n<li>More Sports: Motivate myself to run more than once every other month. Get a bike.<\/li>\n<li>Hardware consolidation: New NAS, New Desktop, retire direk.arved.priv.at<\/li>\n<li>Continue contributing to FreeBSD and Wikipedia<\/li>\n<li>Attend a conference<\/li>\n<li>Read more books<\/li>\n<li>Improve my foreign language skills<\/li>\n<li>Travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No November update, since I was busy with moving.
